Steps to Apply for Voter ID Card Online
|
- Visit the official National Voter Services Portal (NVSP) website.
- On the homepage, click the Sign-Up button located at the top right corner.
- Enter your mobile number, email ID, and the captcha code, then click Continue.
- Fill in your first and last name, create a password, confirm it, and click Request OTP.
- Input the OTP sent to your mobile/email and click Verify.
- Once verified, click Login, enter your mobile number, password, captcha code, and click Request OTP again.
- Enter the OTP received and click Verify & Login to access your account.
- Select the option Fill Form 6 for new registration under general electors.
- Complete Form 6 by providing your personal details, relative’s information, contact info, Aadhaar number, date of birth, address, and upload required documents. Click Preview and Submit once done.
- Double-check all information, then click Submit to complete your Voter ID registration.

- Complete the Form 6 with all the necessary personal details.
- Submit the filled form along with a passport-size photograph and required supporting documents at the Election Office.
